| GENERAL Ensure that your individual Sales and Profit Budget is exceeded and that all costs related to your orders are strictly controlled. Implement effective Sales Action Plans for all Key Accounts and regional customers within your responsibility. Ensure customer service is a priority. Identify and resolve all issues relating to customers Provide professional presentations to customers throughout the region. Based on customer briefs initiate all product development and source new concepts in collaboration with the Operations team. Produce accurate customer quotations and ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals. Diligently follow-up all quotations distributed to generate orders. Participate in industry trade shows to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge and identify opportunities to increase sales. Monitor competitor’s promotions and activities and share information with sales team members. Develop and maintain accurate, legible customer files. Submit all requested reports including but not limited to customer meeting reports, forecasts, prospect lists and monthly sales reports to the Sales and Marketing Director in a timely fashion. Work independently HUMAN RELATION SKILLS ?To have a strong team spirit attitude and ability to pick up additional customers temporarily as required. ?To build the teamwork within the department by encouraging shared sense of responsibility and achievement. Ability to direct and motivate peers and team members reporting to this position. THINKING AND REASONING ?To professionally research the market, segment customers, identify profitable sales opportunities and act on these. ?To analyse complex management information, financial and sales reports to monitor achievement of objectives and budget. ?Excellent problem solving capabilities and ability to establish clear and measurable objectives. ?To have the desire to keep abreast of competitor offerings and to get to know customers on a personal level. NUMERICAL LOGIC AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SKILLS ?To devise, manage and achieve business plans and budgets. ?To have excellent IT skills in MS word processing, excel spreadsheets, access database and PowerPoint applications. PERSONAL QUALITIES ?To operate effectively within an environment influenced by frequently changing and often conflicting priorities. ?To earn respect of peers, staff, customers, suppliers and senior management. ?To demonstrate initiative with new product ideas, service standards and quality improvements for all product categories. To identify market needs and trends in the gifts & premium industry. To refine constantly product knowledge. ?Expand region’s profitability by proactive pursuance of bids and contact with potential customers. |

| Skills Required | |||
| Education: Sales & Marketing qualification preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years sales and account management experience. Detailed knowledge of the promotions and premium industry a distinct advantage. Experience working with multi-national companies on a direct basis pref. Demonstrated experience in account management of multiple customers on a global basis including product creation, pricing strategies, distribution techniques, packaging and strategic marketing principles applicable to the premiums industry. Very good presentation skills with strong IT experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential |
