•Develop and manage International Public Relations strategy in line with the overall Marketing strategy for a global business
•Deliver/supporting occasional advertising campaigns (press, banners etc)
•Proactively manage internal and external communication, in particular with the media
•Position the organisation in the media.
•Produce monthly and annual reports for management.
•Knowledge of Online PR and Social Media
•Keep abreast of competitive best practice
•Provide regular feedback to key stakeholders throughout communication projects
Skills Required
•Relevant qualification in Marketing Communications/PR essential
•Experience in leading business to business in-house press relations for a multi-national business
•Experience of running measurable and integrated marketing programmes
•Strong affinity to sales, perhaps with first hand sales and or business development experience.
•Strong international and global experience (ability to develop and implement a global PR plan) – International PR experience should include some of US, Europe and Asia.
•Fluent in written and spoken UK English
•Strong written English (US or International Style) is essential
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Current Affairs knowledge, Financial Services or a Political background is preferred
•Team player with strong interpersonal/consultancy skills and as ability to work across remotely based and virtual teams
•Capable of working independently and calling for support when required
•Enthusiasm and determination
•Strong Analytical skills
•Organised, an excellent planner
•Tendency to identify and promote new ideas to drive the business forward
•Energetic, attention to detail, passionate, committed, creative, completer/finisher
•Computer literate in MS Office, Internet and email.
