A small dynamic PR Firm is looking for a talented and energetic Account Manager

The candidate should be able to:

· liaise with both clients and media,
· have a good understanding and knowledge base of the SA media environment,
· prepare reports & action plans,
· measure and evaluate campaigns,
· write proposal, press releases & articles,
· assist in putting together new business proposals from a content & research perspective
· be a creative thinker that is results driven
· manage a client portfolio that consists of both consumer and corporate clients
· multi task and juggle several demanding clients & projects
· be a team player
· have an excellent track record in terms of creative writing skills and experience within this area
· Proactively manage the media relations for each client (i.e developing story leads for journalists, setting up of print & broadcast media interviews, negotiating EDITORAL media exposure, writing press releases, articles and trends/ opinion pieces, etc)
· Have a good understanding of digital communications platforms (specifically mobile & online)
· Have one or more of the following qualifications: PR, Corporate Communications, Journalism or Brand Marketing
