A large media company is looking for a Sales Director to manage their marketing and sales team.
Skills Required
- Develop the sales and marketing strategy.
- Achieve sales targets
- Organise and manage the marketing and sales functions
- Build client relations
- Have a thorough understanding of the marketing processes, trends, application of competitor information and consumer behaviour.
- computer literacy (MS Office, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook)
- In-depth product knowledge and understanding of market forces on the product mix
- Familiarity with geographical areas in SA.
- The ability to interact with people at all levels within and outside the organisation
- The ability to plan and execute successful presentations to enhance business target achievement.
- Analytical skills (ability to analyse and interpret information)
- The ability to communicate effectively with all role players at all levels
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent people management / leadership skills

Additional
3 to 4 years sales and senior marketing management experience gained in a medium sized organisation. (Preferably the service or advertising industry)

Must be goal and customer orientated, resilient, a risk taker and conceptual.

Must be willing to travel extensively and work extended hours.
